Home Staging
What is Staging?

When you get ready to place your house on the market for sale it ceases to be your home. Therefore, you are faced with the harsh reality of having to detach yourself from it. Give it a last hug. Give it the final wave goodbye. And as you are using that final piece of tissue to dry your tears, remember you will lose the house but never the memories. Now you can look ahead and get excited about the next stage of your life.

Once you understand this, you are in the right frame of mind to get prepared for selling your house. You can look at your house more objectively. It is now a product. Like any product you would find on the shelf at your local store, your house is the packaged good that has unique features inside, ready to be purchased by an excited consumer. It has pluses. It has minuses. And don’t forget, it also has competition. Therefore, in order to compete with the competition, you must be organized. Fix it up. Get it priced accurately. You have to ask yourself “How is my house different? How does it stand above the rest?” The bottom line is you want it to sell quickly and get a price you deserve. To achieve this goal, you need staging.

Staging is the process of preparing any home for sale, regardless of price or location. Staging uses a proven set of professional guidelines to review your house so it matches up with the preset standards. After that, necessary modifications can be made. Once these modifications are made, your house is ready for the market.
